Zetwerk Manufacturing has secured a 1,515 MWp (megawatt peak) order from NTPC for the production and supply of (Approved List of Models and Manufacturers of Solar Photovoltaic Modules) ALMM-compliant solar PV modules.
The Rs 2,500 crore project includes needed spares for Gujarat’s 1,200-MW Khavda solar plant. This order is reported to be four times larger than the previous contract secured from NTPC Renewables in 2023, with a delivery timeline of 210 days
“Zetwerk’s ALMM-compliant modules align with the Indian government’s vision of promoting domestic manufacturing and reducing reliance on imports,” said Srinath Ramakkrushnan, C0-Founder, Zetwerk.
Previously, NTPC Renewables had placed an order one-fourth this size in 2023. The solar modules will be fully made-in-India and will be delivered within 210 days from the date of order.
Zetwerk has previously fulfilled contracts with JSW Energy, Teesta Solar Limited, and Continuum Energy in the renewable energy segment.
