As we work in sustainability and ESG, we love green and blue. For WriteCanvas, we retained an upward trajectory throughout the year.
WriteCanvas is a company dedicated to sustainability and ESG (environmental, social, and governance) issues.
Award Recognition: In January, WriteCanvas won the inaugural Sustainability Steward Award, marking the start of the year. Additionally, the company received an invitation to serve as a panelist at an International Sports Summit organized by the Kerala government.
Disseminating Sustainability Knowledge: We held the first-ever international conference on energy transition in Nigeria in February. The success resulted in collaborations with Verifair Dubai for a couple more conferences, which were held in Bahrain in September and Kenya in November.
WriteCanvas also participated as a panelist in a sustainability conference organized by the Indian Merchants Chamber, closely followed by a webinar on World Environment Day conducted by the Assocham South Chapter.
Research and Innovation: WriteCanvas expanded its reach beyond conferences and events with the publication of its first research report, “Is ‘S’ the Blind Spot in ESG?” This report was a collaborative effort with Assocham and the MS Ramaiah Centre of Excellence in Sustainability.
Another feather in our cap was added by WriteCanvas with the launch of esgnews.earth, India’s first Sustainability and ESG news portal.
Looking Ahead: Shaping a Sustainable Future
WriteCanvas is poised for an even more impactful year in 2025.
WriteCanvas will kick off 2025 by hosting an exclusive roundtable discussion titled “Sustainable India@2030” in Mumbai. This invitation-only event will be the first in a series of programs designed to bridge the knowledge gap and foster collaboration between academia, industry, and policymakers in the sustainability space.
Continued International Engagement: WriteCanvas will return to Nigeria for the next edition of the Energy Transition Conference in January 2025.
Smart Tech Asia Conference: In February, WriteCanvas will serve as a knowledge partner for the Smart Tech Asia Conference held in Mumbai, being organized by Messe Muenchen India.
