Peak shaving technology, also known as load shedding, is a strategy to reduce electricity consumption during peak demand periods to avoid high demand charges and prevent strain on the electrical grid.
The patent is effective for 20 years from its original filing date. The patented technology enables intelligent reduction of peak electricity demand, improving energy efficiency and offering cost-saving benefits to users while contributing to grid stability.
